Dorothy Jean Scott age 76 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, January 03, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital.  She was born on September 16, 1937 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Birdie Lee Groce and Willie Cleo Jones Groce.  She was a former employee of Balkamp Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Scott and three sisters, Marie Spear, Mary Alta Smith, and Betty Ruth Scarlett.

Survivors Include:
One Son- Jack(Tina)Scott of Indianapolis, IN
One Daughter- Sandra Scott of Brownsburg, IN
Three Brothers- Joe(Willie Mae)Groce of Indianapolis, IN,
David(Janice)Groce of Burkesville, KY, and Lonnie(Deborah)Groce of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Beatrice(Bobby)Davidson of Burkesville, KY
Six Grandchildren- Matthew, Angie, Jeffrey, Chris, Casey, and Sara
One Great Grandchild- Samuel
Close Friend- Henry Holley
Her Special Pets- Buddy and Missy
and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Wednesday, January 08, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in the Scott Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
