Thomas "Tom" Braber, 64, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 7, 1946, to Virginia Braber, Souderton, PA and the late Thomas Cornelius Braber. Thomas was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a self employed carpenter and builder having worked on over 120 homes and businesses. He was also very active in baseball, having coached baseball in Cumberland County for over 15 years.

Survivors Include:
His wife of 36 years, Sylvia Braber, Burkesville, KY.
2 Sons, Liam(Melissa) Braber of Philadelphia, PA; Ryan (Shannon) Braber of Glasgow, KY;
5 Sisters, Andy Braber of Souderton, PA; Diane Braber of Monclair, NJ; Lee Alcott of Glasgow, KY; Mary Beth Austin of Landsdale, PA; Mary Jo Downey of Sellersville, PA;
2 Grandchildren, Macy Wilkerson, and Maverick Braber

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, December 04, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the family home, 1091 Williams Creek Road Burkesville, KY.
Cremation has been chosen

Tom was a generous and giving person and the most incredible big brother. My love goes out to his precious children, Liam and Ryan and his loving wife, Sylvia.

Sylvia and family, we were very sad to hear of Tom's death. It has been a long, hard time, we know. We just want you to know that we think you are a special and gracious lady and you will handle this well, as you do everything!
