Stella McKinney Ballou, 83, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, KY. Stella was born in Greensburg, Kentucky on November 21, 1928, to the late Nancy Lou Willis McKinney, and the late Eugene McKinney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul McKinney. She was a member of Burkesville First United Methodist Church, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary, and was a cofounder of Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home where she assisted families for over 60 years

Survivors Include:
Her husband of 65 years- Kenneth Ballou of Burkesville, KY.
One Daughter- Beverly(Tim)Alexander of Burkesville, KY
One Son, Anthony Ballou of Burkesville, KY;
Two Brothers, Donald Lee McKinney of Columbia, KY; and Harold Walton McKinney of Danville, KY;
Three Sisters, Doris Jean Lane of Danville, KY; Juanita Scott of Columbia, KY; Ruby Roach of South Carolina
4 Grandchildren, Jenny Newell, Mary Ballou(Jarrett)Murphy, Jessica(Andy)Roberts, Kenneth Martin(Maggie)Ballou
Two Great-Grandchildren, Alexander Newell and Paris Newell

Funeral services on Monday, March 19, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Harold Walton McKinney, Rev. Robert Morris, and Dr. Mark Shelton officiating. Burial in the Burkesville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
Pallbearers: Rich McKinney, Paul Simpson McKinney, Brent Roach, Hal Roach, Jackie Scott, Greg Scott, Harold Scott
Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to any church or cemetery

I will miss you dearly Aunt Stella. You were such a beautiful and gracious woman and I have many fond memories of spending time with you and Uncle Kenny. I rejoice that you are no longer suffering and will meet you again some day. I love you!

Kenny i just read about your wife Stella in the hometown paper & I wish to offer you & your family my deepest sympathies concerning your losing her.
