Festus Crawley Conley age 81 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital after an illness. Festus was born on September 24, 1931 in Cumberland County, KY to the late James H. (Jim) Crawley and Alma Nation Crawley.  She was a member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church, a homemaker, and part time employee of Cumberland County Hospital. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Conley, one brother, J.H. "Foots" Crawley, one brother-in-law, Martin Thrasher, and one nephew, Ronnie Thrasher.

Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Sharon Pickens and her husband Jeff of Burkesville, KY
One Granddaughter- Chelsey Ann Pickens of Burkesville, KY
Two Sisters- Jamah Thrasher of Burkesville, KY, and Stella Cross and her husband Lloyd of Burkesville, KY
One Brother- Truesdale Crawley and his wife Pat of Burkesville, KY
Five Nieces- Ronda Chandler and her husband Delbert of Tompkinsville, KY, Tammy Watson of Celina, TN, Jennifer Crawley of Louisville, KY, Laura Riley and her husband Terry of Burkesville, KY, and Emily Crawley
Three Nephews- Dale Cross, Patrick Crawley and his wife Kristy, and John Crawley
6 Great Nieces, 5 Great Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST. Burkesville, KY with burial in Modoc Cemetery.
Family requests visitation after 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Sharon so sorry to here about your Mom. She was always so sweet when we stop to see her on our short trips to Ky. She had a beautiful view from her front door. Sorry again.

So sorry for your loss, I know you will miss her, but she is in Heaven no sickness no pain. We have this promise:

I am so sorry to hear the passing of your Mother/Grandmother. as I remember Festus she was a kindhearted & caring person. we were in the class of 1951 together. I moved away but had seen and talked on the phone together in later years. So Sorry.

Sharon and family - I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I feel so privileged to have gotten to know her while Chelsey and Hillary were at UK. Your family is in my prayers.
