Tessie Alexander age 92 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital. Tessie was born on May 21, 1921 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Oppie and Mary Fannie Jones Alexander. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Willie Mae Alexander, two brothers, Horace and Alonzo Alexander, and three sisters, Lovie Rush, Willie Turner, and Dorothy Francis Alexander.

Survivors Include:
Two Daughters- Dorothy Alexander, and Becky Ann Alexander both of Burkesville, KY
Two Sons- Donald Louis Alexander, and Mark Douglas "Skip" Rush both of Burkesville, KY
Special Friend: Gladys Staten of Burkesville, KY
8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with burial in Grundy Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville

We, the Anders Family would like extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Ms Tessie Alexander's family during this time of bereavement .Ms Tessie was a beautiful and loving friend, neighbor, and sis in the Lord. We are going miss her but not forget her.
