It seems only a few days ago that Eva and I talked at length while waiting at the pharmacy. As always she was upbeat and bright-eyed. The first time I met her was when Mr. Young was ill and she asked me to sing at his funeral. Your mother was a wonderful woman with happy eyes and a big smile that I feel will be the lasting memory I will have of her. God bless all of you at this most difficult time.

Sir, I can'e imagine what you're going through. Be happy for what she has gained, not sad for our loss.

Please accept my condolences and sincere apology for not attending the funeral. I had every intention of coming to the funeral. for some reason I mistakenly thought the funeral was at 1 p.m. This morning around 10:30 a.m. I was visiting my Mother, Betty Hurt , and we were talking about Eva Mae and sharing memories, and I told her that I was going to the funeral. She informed me that it was too late that it was at 10:00 a.m.. I am so sorry, I thought the world of her, and will miss her greatly.
