Earl "Zip" Harris age 84 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 05, 2015 at Cumberland Valley Manor.  He was born in Cumberland County, KY on October 02, 1930 to the late Sam Taylor and Iva Jewell Taylor Harris. Zip was a longtime mechanic in Burkesville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Hulse Harris, and one brother, Hall Lee Harris.

Survivors Include:
Three Daughters- Joan Harris, Tammy(and Ernest)Anderson,and
Donna(and Dennis)Spears all of Burkesville, KY
Two Sons- Wayne(and Beverly)Harris of Sparksville, KY and Stephen(and Carrie)Harris of Burkesville, KY
8 Grandchildren- Shawn Harris, Shanna Harris, Megan Acree, Mark Lee, Morrissa Spears, Trevor Harris, Tamara Harris, Ella Harris
3 Great Grandchildren- Sidney Acree, Paislee Acree, Neila Harris
and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Monday, September 07, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Sunday, September 06, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Please know that your family is in my prayers and although it's something everyone says, he really is in a wonderful, beautiful place with no pain and no conflict. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
