Sir, I had the pleasure of working with Sam after I retired from the Military. He was a nice man who didn't mind helping us new hires learn the RR ways. He and I spent hours talking weapons. He was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a few choices for my collection. I will miss the conversations. Not many think like myself and Sam. God Bless, Be safe out there.

I am truly sorry for your loss. It has been told to me that we start dying the day we are born into this world. He touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for some time.

Sammy- Rest in peace. I had lost contact with you since the days of the VOC and Western Ky University. I too was a native of Cumberland County like yourself. At WKU you and I shared many stories about Cumberland County. Again, my condolences to the family.

We are so sorry for the untimely loss of Sam. Our neighborhood will not be the same without him here. We will miss seeing him wave as he drove his red truck drive by, and we will miss our chats by the mailbox. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
