Carl "Big Man" Slaughter age 67 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Carl was born on September 08, 1946 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky to the late Carl Lee Slaughter and Loretta Melton Slaughter.  

Survivors Include:
Two Sisters- Delois Spears and her husband Carlyle of Franklin, Indiana, and Delene Jennings and her husband Sammie of Martinsville, Indiana
Two Brothers- Archie Slaughter of Grand Prairie, Texas and Gary Slaughter of Burkesville, Kentucky
Two Aunts- Ina Ree Capps and Lois Melton both of Burkesville, Kentucky
and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service:
Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky with burial in Guthrie Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, August, 26, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I have always thought alot of Big Man. My heart was deeply saddend to hear of this and I apologize for not making it to the funeral.
