Mary Lou Skipworth, age 75 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Cumberland County Hospital. Mary Lou was born on May 14, 1945 in Celina, Clay County, TN to the late Fred Poindexter and Myrtle Scott Poindexter. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker. 

Survivors Include:
Her Husband- Ronnie Skipworth of Burkesville, KY
Two Sons- Wayne Skipworth and his wife Shelia and Mark Skipworth all of Burkesville, KY
Three Brothers- James Poindexter of Indianapolis, IN, Jack Poindexter of Wilder, GA and Rick Poindexter of Moss, TN
Three Sisters- Louise Burks of Celina, TN, Jeannie Wilson of Indianapolis, IN and Gail Austin of Smyrna, TN
Three Grandchildren- Logan Skipworth, Hannah Long, and Behka Skipworth
One Great Grandchild- Cooper
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in the Williams Cemetery in Clay County, TN
Family requests visitation on Friday, Oct. 9th, 2020 from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to "WE CARE" P.O. Box 695, Burkesville, KY 42717

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary Lous passing.,we are first cousins but due to the distance between us we didn’t get to see each other very much. I loved her as I do all of my cousins. I’m praying for all her family. May she Rest In Peace in Gods warmth and loving embrace.

We are saddened by the news of Mary Lou's passing. She was my dad's (Uncle Millard's) "favorite" as he would say. Mary Lou will be cherished in our memories forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family
