Larry Sid York, age 67 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Hospice Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green KY. Larry was born on August 03, 1953 in Barren County, KY to the late Fred and Geneva York. He was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Charles York and Marty York.
 

Survivors Include:
Two Sisters: Barbara Anderson of Bowling Green and Debera Long of Campbellsville, KY. 

Three Nephews: Randall Long, Charles “Chucky” York, Matthew York

Four Nieces: Cynthia Finley, Sonya Hadley, Tonya Anderson, Erika York

Eighteen Great Nephews and Nieces and 2 Great Great nephews.

Memorial Service: There will be a Private Service for Family and close friends only please, due to Covid. Saturday February 27th 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Jones Chapel Church. Heyward Adams will be officiating the memorial service. No burial service at this time. Larry donated his body to UofL Medical Institute for Research. In Lieu of flowers the Family request gifts of love and sympathy to American Cancer Society or local Non Profit We Care in Burkesville, Ky.

Larry Sid will always hold a special place in my heart. He was always a joy to be around and always treated my family and me with the utmost respect and kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with Larry’s family and friends.
