My wonderful and beautiful mother is no longer on this Earth. She has crossed over to be with Christ, along with her other sisters and her brother, now leaving we, her progeny, to carry on without her wisdom and intellect. Mom was smart to the very end, despite her battles with "old timers" disease, and gave me so much good advice in my life that I will always be grateful for. I recall thinking as a young boy that my mother was one of the smartest people I knew, and now I know I was right. Mom was there for each of us when we needed her to be, and always generous to a fault, a characteristic she inherited from her father, Harvey T. Allen. Mary Catherine, your are loved, and we will miss you...

Kay was always one of my most favorite people. She was my second mother and a wonderful friend. A nurse to the end, Kay always cared for others before tending to her own needs. I miss her dearly, but I know she more than earned her rest and relief. So VERY sorry for your loss.

Aunt Kay was there for me when noone else was. She was one of my best friends. She took care of me and made me homemade donuts and pancakes. What an incredible woman! I love you Aunt Kay. I am glad she is in heaven.

Aunt Kay opened her heart and Home to a rebel teenage boy who needed some understanding. She became my "Adopted Mom"
She helped me fight some battles and gave me confidence when I needed it. She also never hesitated to let me know when I was "Being a Jerk". Her love and understanding helped me become the person I am today. She gave me love and a family that I will cherish always. Kay, you will forever be in my heart. LOVE YOU, Ron

What a blessing to have been a part of Kay's life. Kay was one of a kind and will always be part of me. Her openess and acceptance of life's unending changes were an inspration to me and many others. Kay reached out to and helped many souls and you will always be proud of the wisdom she gave us all.
