Amy Spears, age 86 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital after an illness. Amy was born on January 06, 1927 in Cumberland County, KY to the late A.O. Sharp and Lula Jones Sharp.  She was a homemaker, and member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Hase Spears, three children, Stevie Spears, Carl Spears, and Donnie Spears, six siblings, Arnold Sharp, Sybil Key, Alma Short, Mae Williams, Ruth Walker, Randoph Sharp, and one special niece, Anna Grace Love. Survivors Include: Two Daughters- Martha Ann Keen of Burkesville, KY, and Betty June Conrad and her husband Danny of Edmonton, KY One Son- Larry Spears and his wife Liz of Burkesville, KY Two Sisters- Nina Skipworth of Burkesville, KY and Bebe Capps of Burkesville, KY One Brother- Paul Jackson Sharp of Burkesville, KY 9 Grandchildren- Melissa Anderson, Carla Rich, Lori Wood, Chris Conrad, Amy Hammer, Todd Spears, Tammy McMahan, Jeremy Conner, Tasha Dial 27 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Randall McPherson officiating. Burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery Family requests visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
