Becky Gilbert age 71 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, Dec 14, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital.  She was born on Feb 26, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to Paul Herman and Elizabeth Ogier Herman. She was a graduate of Dundalk High School in Baltimore, Maryland.  She married John Joseph "Jack" Gilbert on August 5, 1961 at Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Baltimore.  Becky was the owner of Becky Gilbert Painting Company in Burkesville for 31 years. She is survived by her husband, John J. Gilbert of Burkesville;  Son and Daughter-in-law: John and Wanda Gilbert of Burkesville;  Daughter and Son-in-law: Cynthia and Darris Robertson of Burkesville 3 Grandchildren- Ricky and Jennifer Gilbert of Casper, WY, Dylan Gilbert and Draigen Thompson of Burkesville, KY 2 Great Grandchildren- Josh Gilbert and Paige Gilbert both of Casper, WY Sister- Paulette Shaduk of Baltimore, Maryland Brother- Louis Herman of Celina, TN along with a host of close friends. Funeral Service: Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Gilbert Family Cemetery.  Family requests visitation after 4 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 until the funeral hour on Thursday.
