Bedford Newby, age 78 of Bowling Green, KY, a native of Cumberland County, KY, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  Bedford was the son of Herschell Newby and Mattie Rowe Newby and was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Elsie Huffman, Raymond Newby, Jewell Huffman, and Pearl Cain. Survivors Include: Two Sisters- LeAnn Frinks of Indianapolis, IN, and  Minnie R. Newby of Louisville, KY One Brother- Kenneth Newby of Bowling Green, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends Funeral Service: Friday, April 19, 2013 at Burnam & Son Mortuary, 201 Center St., Bowling Green, KY with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. on Friday at Burnam & Son Mortuary. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, KY in charge of local arrangements.
