Billy Joe Melton age 73 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. Billy was born on November 21, 1941 in Cumberland County, Kentucky.  He was a former employee of General Electric and in later years worked at Corner Pool and Lunch in Burkesville. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Martha Jo "Jocie" McCoy and Lewis G. McCoy. Survivors Include: Two Aunts- Lois Melton and Ina Ree Capps both of Burkesville, KY and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral Service: Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Guthrie Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until the service time at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
