Bobby Mitchell Carter, 64, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Bobby was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on February 26, 1947, to the late Juanita Leo Coats Carter, and the late Joe Dillion Carter. He was a member of Burkesville Community Church and a retired Emergency Medical Technician having worked for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Carter and Doris Lee Carter, and two brothers, Joe Frank Carter and Ernest Carter. Survived By

• He is survived by his Wife of 39 years, Kathryn Carter, Burkesville, KY.
• 1 Son, Reico Carter and Wife Kimberly of Atlanta, GA;
• 1 Daughter, Tonya Carter Scott and her husband Craig of Burkesville, KY
• 1 Brother, Steve Carter of Burkesville, KY;
• 1 Sister, Bonnie Carter Martin of Horse Cave, KY;
• 5 grandchildren- Elijah Carter, Qwmaine Scott, Rayshawn Scott, Adrienne Scott, and Autumn Scott.
• and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
