Bobby Sid Thurman age 78 of Summer Shade, KY passed away on Friday, December 03, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Bobby was born on September 19, 1943 in Cumberland County, KY to the late John Paul Thurman and Beulah Agnes Murley Thurman. He was a longtime farmer and construction worker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Joshua Kane Thurman, three brothers, Paul Jr. Thurman, Donnie Thurman, and Jimmy Dee Thurman and two sisters Hazel Day and Barbara Sue Thurman.

Survivors Include: His Wife- Tammy Capps Thurman of Summer Shade, KY Four Children- Bobby Jr. Thurman of Monticello, KY, Patty Briggs(Bobby) of Pennsylvania, Joe Thurman of Glasgow, KY, and Sidney Allen(Isaac) of Georgetown, IN Six Brothers- Ronnie Thurman(Cindy), Charles Thurman(Hettie), Wayne Thurman, and Timmy Thurman all of Burkesville, KY and Starr Thurman and Tommy Thurman(Glenda) both of Glasgow, KY Two Sisters- Jewel Bryant(Austin) and Gail Medlin(Richard) both of Burkesville, KY Six Grandchildren- Brandi Fuller, C.J. Thurman, Jerrica Tilton, Brittany Wilson, Tyler Thurman, and Ethan Thurman 9 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Monday, December 06, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Sunday, December 5th from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
