Carolyn Michelle Wilburn Carter, age 63 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Cumberland County Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1959 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Robert Kyle Cary and Virginia Inell "Tootsie" Wilburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Carter, one daughter Jessica Carol Elliott, one sister Victoria Wilburn, one granddaughter Kennedy Compton and one special nephew Donnavan Norris. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors Include: Two Sons- Jory Lamar Elliott and Dakota O'Neill Elliott both of Burkesville, KY Two Daughters- Brandi Michelle Carter Compton of Columbia, TN and Devon Inell Elliott of Cedar Falls, Iowa Four Brothers- Tommy Wilburn of Chicago, IL Raymond Wilburn and Adam Wilburn both of Burkesville, KY and George Wilburn of Smyrna, TN Two Sisters- Phyllis Stewart and Rosemary Barnett both of Bowling Green, KY 10 Grandchildren- Cassidy Willis, Celeste Tompkins, Camden Lee, Claire Wilty, Caliana Wilty, Phoenix Compton, Isley Compton, Amaya Elliott, Audrina Elliott, and Khalil Elliott Special Niece- Erica Wilburn along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

In accordance with her wishes cremation was chosen and burial of cremains will take place at a later date in Coe Ridge Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY
