Cathy Cochran, age 63 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at her home. Cathy was born on January 19, 1961 in Altoona, PA  to the late Thomas Otto and Shirley Albright Otto.  Cathy was an LPN for many years working with the Veterans Administration Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Altoona, PA and Senior Home Care in Florida and later retired from Optum Health in 2023.  She was a longtime Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Cathy loved cooking, camping, and being with her family. Her joy in life was spoiling her grandchildren and her dogs. In addition to her parents Cathy was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Crystal Cochran and her brother David Otto.

Survivors Include: Her Husband- Stephen Cochran of Burkesville, KY Two Sons- John(Tina)Otto of Altoona, PA and James Smith, Jr. of Ebensburg, PA One Daughter- Michelle(Ray)Snare-Otto of Hudson, FL Two Stepchildren- Eric(Christa)Cochran of Altoona, PA and Erica(Shaun)Burket of Glendale, PA Two Sisters- Shirley(Sonny)Storm of Falling Timber, PA and Mary(Paul)Thon of Duncansville, PA 19 grandchildren, 2 nieces along with her beloved dogs Spike and Lucy

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11 A.M. till 1 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with cremation to follow. Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
