Florence Grider, age 89 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital. Florence was born on November 12, 1926 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Sindy Vibbert Farlee.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Grider, one daughter, Sharon Harper, one grandson, Benjamin Kay Grider, one sister, Luna Scott, and three brothers, Oscar Farlee, John Farlee, and Joe Farlee Survivors Include: Two Daughters- Faye Groce of Burkesville, KY and Brenda Arms and her husband Phillip of Burkesville, KY Two Sons- Ray Grider and his wife Jeanann of Indiana, and Kay Grider and his wife Debbie of Albany, KY Special Caregiver- Donna Purtlebaugh of Burkesville, KY 15 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, several Great Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Mud Camp Cemetery.  Family requests visitation after 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
