Hazel Nellodean Severe Eckhart, age 84 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. Hazel was born on April 25, 1937 in Cumberland County  to the late Halton Severe and Carmon Cain Severe. She was retired from 53 years employment in the garment industry having worked at several sewing factories and was a member of the Red Banks United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eckhart and a sister, Mary Harris.

Survivors: Two sons - Joe Davidson (Joyce) of Burkesville, and Stevie Lynn Davidson (Allison) of Burkesville One daughter - Lisa Ann Davidson (Dusty) of Middletown, IN One brother - Bobby Lee Severe of Burkesville Two sisters - Avo Huddleston, and Bonnie Capps both of Burkesville Five grandchildren -  Stevie Joe Davidson whom she raised, Valerie Long, Candi Norris, Chelsea Calvert, Michael Calvert Nine great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends

Funeral service: Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, with Bro. Charles Huddleston officiating.  Burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
