Hershel Weldon Parmley age 72 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 08, 2026 at Cumberland County Hospital Emergency Room.  Weldon was born on January 23, 1954 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Myrtie Parmley.  He was a longtime sawmill worker. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one great grandson Hunter Scott

Survivors Include: His Lifetime Companion- Lucille Overshiner of Burkesville, KY His Children- James Overshiner(Chandra) and Anthony Overshiner(Mistie) of Burkesville, KY, Chris Overshiner(Morgan) of Edmonton, KY and Debra Overshiner(Jeremy) of Knoxville, TN Three Sisters- Ochia Anders and Sheryl Parmley both of Burkesville, KY and Venetta Parmley of Louisville, KY 13 Grandchildren-Markia(Jacob) Voris, Mark Vibbert Jr., Rhyleigh Overshiner, Peyton Overshiner, Cameron Overshiner, Kaylee Overshiner, James Overshiner, Emmit Overshiner, Catherine Overshiner, Tabitha Overshiner, Lexi Overshiner, Bella Overshiner, Emma Overshiner Great Grandchildren- Jaxson Scott (deceased Hunter Scott) Kaytlinn Scott, Thomas Scott, Remington Scott,  Nova Overshiner,  Bri Vibbert, Hunter Vibbert,  Emery Costello Step Great Grandchildren- Gennie Smith and Eliza Smith and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service: Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Sunday, July 12th from 9 A.M. until time for the service at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
