Hylen Norris age 88 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1928 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Rassie  Elmore and Myrtie Shaw Norris. Hylen was a longtime farmer, a former employee of McComas Chevrolet, and had attended Hanover Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Josephine Anderson Norris, two children, Wendell Norris and Linda Norris Spears, and one brother Donald Norris. Survivors Include: Two Daughters- Brenda Marsh and her friend Mike Vinson of McMinnville, TN and Glenda Willis and her husband Jerry of Burkesville, KY Son-in-law- Darrell Spears of Burkesville, KY Four Sisters- Martha Bryant, Pearl Abney, and Betty Riddle all of Marrowbone, KY and Edith Mae Burton of Louisville, KY Seven Grandchildren- Chris "Woody" Scott(and Carla Bush), Cindy Jo Nettles(and Lawrence), Windy Spears, Christy Wilson(and Donnie), Nicky Spears(and Lora Beth), Michael Norris, Skylar Willis Eight Great Grandchildren- Brooklyn Branham, Colby Nettles, Allie Bradley, Carly Jo Nettles, Alaina Wilson, Tenley Spears, Amelia Wilson, Lani Grace Spears Three Step Grandchildren- Dakota Vinson, TeKeila Vinson, Ronnie Dale"R.D."Vinson Special Family Friend- Glenda Denton and a host of other relatives and friends also survive Funeral Service: Monday, August 08, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N.
