J.E. Ooten age 60 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. J.E. was born on February 05, 1954 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Elmer Ooten and Lizzie Spears Ooten. He was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors Include: Three Aunts- Linda Appleby and her husband Raymond of Burkesville, KY, Mabel Carter of Campbellsville, KY, and Shirley Stone of Gallatin, TN and a many cousins and friends Funeral Service: Friday, December 19, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Sam Appleby and Rev.
