James "Rooster" Davidson, 77, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. James "Rooster" was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on February 4, 1934, to the late Laura Mae Wallace Davidson, and the late Johnny Ambros "Hame" Davidson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Annie Belle "Goodie" Davidson, 1 Brother, Kenny Davidson; 3 Sisters, Betty Melton; Jacqueline Pharris; Vickie Lynn Davidson. He was a longtime oil and gas drilling contractor in Kentucky and Tennessee. Survivors Include:

• 2 Sons, Michael Davidson and Wife Mary of Burkesville, KY; and David Lynn Davidson of Burkesville, KY
• 3 Brothers, Billy Davidson and Wife Sharlotte Craig of Burkesville, KY; Charles Davidson of Burkesville, KY; Johnny Davidson and Wife Cheryl of Burkesville, KY;
• 3 Sisters, Cookie Reliford of Burkesville, KY; Juanita Willis and Husband Floyd of Burkesville, KY; Linda Long and Husband Stevie of Burkesville, KY; His Step Mother- Dorothy "Dot" Davidson of Burkesville, KY;
• 2 Grandchildren, Curtis (Heather) Davidson of Burkesville, KY; Chris (Rachel) Davidson of Burkesville, KY;
• 4 Great-Grandchildren- Victoria Rose Davidson of Glasgow, KY; Annie Davidson of Burkesville, KY; Landon Davidson of Frankfort, IN; Ashton Davidson of Burkesville, KY;
