Jo Ann Bridges, 73, of Burkesville, KY (a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Jo Ann was born in Jamestown, Kentucky on August 17, 1937, to the late Erma Collins Hawkins, and the late Owen Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Bridges, 1 Brother, Murlin Collins; 2 Sisters, Irene Bagshaw; Margaret Vaughn. She was a member of Long Run Baptist Church in Edgewood, KY and a former employee and proofreader for American Bank Stationary Company in Louisville, KY. Survivors Include:

• 1 Daughter, Donna Johnson and Husband Randy of Burkesville, KY;
• 2 Sons, Jeff Hawkins and Wife Ramona of Louisville, KY; Thomas Bridges of Louisville, KY;
• 6 Grandchildren, Brodie Bridges, Drew Bridges, Drew Osting, Jenn Osting, Joey Johnson, Sandy (Jeremy) Plaunt
• 1 Great-Granddaughter, Mya Rose Plaunt
