John Claywell, age 79 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Cumberland County Hospital. John was born on November 10, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Gloud and Mary Anderson Claywell. He was a former employee of McCoy Chevrolet and Long's Auto Sales. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Kenneth Claywell, Roy Claywell, Leland Claywell, Terry Claywell and two sisters Magdelene Richards and Nelda Shirley

Survivors Include: His Wife- Brenda Claywell of Burkesville, KY One Son- Barry Claywell of Burkesville, KY One Brother- Jimmy Claywell (Betty) of Burkesville, KY One Sister- Mildred York of New Castle, IN One Grandson- Corey Stewart of Scottsville, KY and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 07, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Wednesday, March 06, 2024 from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
