Kathryn Sutton, age 69 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Kathy was born on February 03, 1951 to the late Allen McCleery and Marviena Stitzer McCleery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry (Hank) Sutton, brothers Donald Mark Madgett, Sr., William Barrett, her twin Patrick McCleery, Harold McCleery and great nephew Donald Mark Madgett, III. She was a member of Burkesville Baptist Church and was a former waitress for many restaurants. Kathy was a true and devoted wife and the most loving, loyal and kind person to all of her family. She was a friend to everyone, known for her kind heart and generous nature.  She was a treasure who will be missed by all who knew her. She fought a long battle with Stage IV Cancer, maintaining a positive outlook and a deep faith in God.

Survivors Include: One Brother- Paul Madgett of Omaha, Nebraska Sisters-in-law- Margaret Madgett and Mary Esther of Florida Niece- Anne Madgett Lomax(John) and Great Nephew and Godson Lawrence McPherson of Longmont, Colorado Nephew- Charles Wayne Madgett, Sr.(Cristy) and Great Nephew Charles Wayne Madgett, Jr. of Livingston, Louisiana Niece and Nephew- Kendra and Shea of Bessemer, Alabama and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at Burkesville Baptist Church with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Sunday, Dec. 27th from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. at Burkesville Baptist Church. Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
