Mrs. Lowell Wray age 87 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1925 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Willie Thrasher and Ellie Flowers Thrasher.  She was a member of Rose of Sharon United Methodist Church and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Wray, three sisters, Tessie Watkins, Bercie Flowers, and Joyce Thrasher, and one brother, Herbert Thrasher. Survivors Include: Four Brothers- Cloyd Thrasher, Lewis Thrasher and his wife Dianna, Jesse Thrasher and his wife Becky, and Matthew Thrasher and his wife Anna May all of Louisville, KY Six Sisters- Lucille Akin of Glasgow, KY, Geneva Thacker and Nelda Garner both of Burkesville, KY, Olene Richardson, Marie Perkins and her husband James, and Anna Wolff and her husband Garry all of Louisville, KY Special Niece and Nephew- Barbara and Bobby Wray of Burkesville, KY and several other nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own and loving cousins. Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Rose of Sharon Cemetery Family requests visitation from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday, October 14, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
