Margie Dean Severe, age 76 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Cumberland County Hospital. Margie was born on January 16, 1947 in Clay County, TN to the late Dewey and Maggie Webb Thompson. Margie was retired from Osh Kosh B'Gosh in Celina, TN and a member of Rock Springs Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six siblings, James Donald Thompson, G. B. Thompson, J.C. Thompson, Joe Thompson, Jerry Thompson and Maxine Spears and her father-in-law, Odell Severe.

Survivors include: Husband - Bobby D. Severe of Burkesville, KY Two sons - Mike Severe and fiancè Connie Gray of Nicholasville, KY and Greg Severe and wife Connie of Burkesville, KY Mother-in-law - Ella Severe of Burkesville, KY Four grandchildren - Blake Severe, Megan Severe, Emily Severe, and Brittany Arnett Three great-grandchildren - Tatum Marie Severe, Ella Claudean Severe and Vada Blakelee Severe and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral service: Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Scott Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday until time for the service at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
