Marie Grider, age 87 of Burkesville, Kentucky(the Amandaville Community) passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Cumberland County Hospital. Marie was born on January 23, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Carmel and Birtie Firkin Grider. She was a member of Amandaville Christian Church, a former employee of Bob Evans and a lifelong farmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Guy Grider, three sisters Mae Shaw, Gladys Tweedy, and Ruby Shaw and nephew David Shaw.

Survivors Include: One Nephew- Freddie Shaw of Burkesville, KY Two Nieces- Brenda Shaw of Somerset, KY and Sue Burton of Columbia, KY Great Niece and Nephews- Charlea Shaw, Adam Shaw, and Evan Shaw along with a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Grider Family Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, August 30th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
