Martin Thrasher, age 87 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1925 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Uriah and Lula Spears Thrasher. He was a former employee of Tyson Bearing and veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. He was a member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Ronnie Thrasher, and three brothers-in-law, J.H. Crawley, Robert Conley, and Jesse Taylor, and one nephew, James Richard Taylor.

Survivors Include: His Wife- Jamah Crawley Thrasher of Burkesville, Kentucky One Daughter- Ronda Chandler and her husband Delbert of Tompkinsville, Kentucky One Sister- Alice Taylor of Weldon, Illinois Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law: Festus Conley, Stella Cross and her husband Lloyd, and Truesdale Crawley and his wife Pat and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive
