Mary Ruth Humphrey, age 83 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Cumberland County Hospital. She was born on November 02, 1929 in the Leslie Community of Cumberland County, KY to the late Dewey and Pearl Branham Spears. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Coolidge Humphrey, one brother, Aldon Spears, and one sister, Betty Spears.

Survivors Include: Five Sons- Larry Humphrey, Alan Humphrey, Dana Humphrey, Kenneth Humphrey, and Kevin Humphrey all of Burkesville, KY Two Daughters- Vickie Beaty of Burkesville, KY and Judy Humphrey Herman of Celina, TN Two Brothers- Keith Spears and J.W. Spears both of Burkesville, KY Three Sisters- Marg Holmes of Murfreesboro, TN, Jewell Vandagriff of Manchester, TN, and Barbara Melton of Indianapolis, IN 9 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral Service: Monday, December 03, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville with burial in the Humphrey Cemetery. Family requests visitation from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, December 02, 2012 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
