Merrill Collins age 77 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  Merrill was born on August 29, 1936 in Centerton, Indiana to the late Raymond Collins and Gertrude Mason Collins.  He was a retired employee of National Starch and Chemical Company in Indianapolis, IN where he worked for 38 years, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Collins. Survivors Include: His wife- Jane Moons Collins of Burkesville, KY Three Daughters- Larinda Horton of New Whiteland, Indiana, Nora Bates of Martinsville, Indiana, and Tracy Collins of Douglasville, Georgia One Brother- Vernes Collins of Arizona One Sister- Helen Roller of Centerton, Indiana 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral Service: Sunday, February 09, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with cremation to follow. Family requests visitation on Sunday, February 09, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at 4:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
