Nancy Louise Maxey Brewington age 69 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital. Nancy was born on January 05, 1946 in Iroquois County, Illinois to the late Edward and Mamie Pearl Hurt Maxey. She was the present Cumberland County Circuit Court Clerk. She had served as a deputy circuit court clerk for twenty years before becoming clerk in 2010. She was a member of Twin Lakes Grace Fellowship Church in Albany, KY.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her other loving parents, Melvin Shelley and Velma Smith Shelley, six siblings, Bob Hurt, Junior Hurt, Priscella Keck, Nealie Hendershot, Dennis Shelley, and Murl Shelley, two brothers-in-law, Ron McCoy, Dennis Tschetter. Survivors Include: Her Husband - Millard Reid Brewington of Burkesville, KY Two Daughters - Tracy Daniels(B.J.) of Burkesville, KY and Kami Vincent of Burkesville, KY Four Brothers - Harold Maxey(Bonnie) of Hilton Head, S.C., Darwin Shelley(Judy) of Byrdstown, TN, Donnie Shelley(Wyncie) of Albany, KY and Johnny Shelley(Shirley) of Albany, KY Three Sisters - Susan Imogene Jones(Jack) of Kankakee, IL, Joann McCoy of Piper City, IL, Phyllis Tschetter of Albany, KY Two Sisters-in-law - Patricia Shelley and Judy Shelley both of Albany, KY Three Grandchildren - David Seth Norris(Ashley), Cambria Raine Vincent, Nicholas Reid Davis One expectant grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Service: Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST., Burkesville, KY with burial in Dodson Cemetery.  Family requests visitation after 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 until the funeral hour on Friday at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
