Nelson Lee Buford age 57 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Nelson was born on September 28, 1956 in Barren County, KY to the late Virgil and Ruth Grooms Buford.  He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY, and enjoyed football and basketball.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Newgene Buford and David Buford, and two sisters, Carol E. Buford, and Lorene Buford Wilburn. Survivors Include: One Son- Jonathan Lyons of Celina, TN Two Sisters- Linda M. Buford of Glasgow, KY, and Connie M. Buford of Louisville, KY Four Brothers- Charles Buford and his wife Fostina of Glasgow, KY, William E. Buford and his wife Leda of Louisville, KY, Clifton Buford of Louisville, KY, and Willie Buford of Bowling Green, KY Brother-in-law- Raymond Wilburn of Burkesville, KY along with a host of other relatives and friends survive. Funeral Service: Saturday, June 07, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY with burial in Caney Fork Cemetery in Allen County, KY.
