Ova Thacker, age 89 of  Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Cumberland County Hospital. Ova was born on June 05, 1933 in Cumberland County,  to the late Menzo and Lena Bullock Hardin. Ova was a member of the Branham Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Thacker, four brothers, Finis Hardin, James Hardin, Dillard Hardin and an infant boy, three sisters, Bulah Vincent, Vicie Mers and Eva Mae and a son-in-law, Donald Drennon.

Survivors include: One daughter - Linda Faye Drennon of Burkesville, KY One son - Danny J. Thacker (Kim) of Burkesville, KY Seven grandchildren - Andie (Markall), Dustin (Cassy), Braden, Casey, Jarrod (Cheryl), Diane (Ryan) and Jennifer (Alton) Eleven great-grandchildren - Jaxon, Brylen, Eli, Eden, Lucas, Anne, Carlton, Allie, Michelle, Spencer and Katie

Funeral Service: Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Modoc Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
