Ray Booker age 84 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home.  Ray was born on September 22, 1930 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Caleb and Eula Melton Booher.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving two tours of duty in the Korean War and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, while with the 7th Calvary. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 23 years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two children, Rae Ann Booker and Kenneth Lee Booker, two brothers, Leon Booher, and Eugene Booher, one grandchild, and two great granddaughters. Survivors Include: His Wife- Evelyn Booker of Burkesville, KY Three Children- Charles Booker of Madison, IN, Eula Butler of Vevay, Indiana, and Alice Powell of Madison, Indiana Two Sisters- Patsy and Elaine 5 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchild, 14 Great Grandchildren Funeral Service: Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Living Word Assembly of God, 173 Living Word Drive, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Dana Coverstone officiating. Burial to follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery with military honors.  Family requests visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at Living Word Assembly of God.
