Reed Fletcher, age 84 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Cumberland Valley Manor. He was born on August 01, 1927 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Dolly Firkin Fletcher and the late Robert Eli Fletcher. He was a retired employee of Raltston Purina Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Fletcher, one daughter Reeta Faye Fletcher, one grandson, Bradley Fletcher, four brothers, Rhyman Fletcher, Bill Fletcher, Russell Fletcher, James Fletcher, two sisters, Genevieve Baker, and Mary Ruth Fletcher.

Survivors Include: One Daughter- Debbie(Terry)Cope of Burkesville, KY 3 Grandchildren- Jeremy(Katherine)Fletcher, Tasha(Dave)Pendley, and Justin(Devon)Fletcher 2 Step Grandchildren- Tony(Emily)Cope, Mark Cope 7 Great Grandchildren- Joslyn Fletcher, Kaylee Fletcher, Dawson Pendley, Kaira Cope, Tucker Cope, Brooke Fletcher, Canaan Cope and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Saturday, March 03, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Burial in the Burkesville Cemetery Visitation from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M.
