Ruby James Grider Shaw, 80, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Ruby was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on January 23, 1931, to the late Bertie Firkins Grider, and the late Carmel Grider.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Edward Shaw 1 Brother, Guy "Bully" Grider; 2 Sisters, Gladys Tweedy; and Mae Shaw. She was a longtime member of Amandaville Christian Church, and a former employee of Bob Evans Sewing Factory Survivors Include:

• 2 Sons, David Edward Shaw and Wife Patty of Lexington, KY; and Freddie Wayne Shaw and Wife Allison of Burkesville, KY;
• 1 Sister, Marie Grider of Burkesville, KY;
• 2 Grandsons, Adam Kyle Shaw and Evan James Shaw
• and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
