Ruth Carlton Claywell, age 83 of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Medical Center at Albany. Ruth was born on March 25, 1940 in Russell County, KY to the late Welby Antle and Lela Stearns Antle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Russell Carlton.

Survivors Include: Her Husband- Donald Claywell of Albany, KY Three Daughters- Janice (Ruel) Parrigin and Martha (William) Bell both of Albany, KY and Barbara (Rick) Guthrie of Somerset, KY Two Grandchildren- Derek Bell and Justin Bell Two Great-Grandchildren - Colin Bell and Luke Bell And a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., with Bro. Bobby Grant and Bro. John Ford officiating. Burial in Lands Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County.  Family requests visitation on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Highway Church of the Nazarene. Donations can be left at the funeral home.
