Ruth Gray, age 73, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Ruth was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on May 23, 1938, to the late Ethel Coop Hughes, and the late Millard Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her her husband Charles Worth Gray, 2 Brothers, Bobby Harold Hughes; William Edward Hughes; 1 Sister, Betty Lorene Hughes; Five stepchildren; Charles Gray, Dorotha Garmon; Evelyn Logan; Helen Baker; Ruth L. Gray. Survivors Include:

• 1 Daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Conner of Gamaliel, KY;
• 1 Son- Jr. "Pickbird" (Teresa) Gray of Burkesville, KY;
• 2 Brothers, Carl Hughes of Celina, TN; Virgil Hughes of Louisville, KY;
• 3 Sisters, Hilda Walker of Chicago, IL; Macie Lewis of Burkesville, KY; Mary Edna Gilbert of Burkesville, KY;
• 5 Step-Children- Dudley Gray of Burkesville, KY; Edna Wolfe of Louisville, KY; Jane Baldwin of Louisville, KY; Virginia Guthrie of Shepherdsville, KY; W L Gray of Indianapolis, IN;
• 5 Grandchildren- Briana Gray, Jaime Poland, Jarrod McMillan Jeanne McMillan,and Misty Cropper
• 5 Great-Grandchildren- Briley Weigleb, Gracie Cash, John Eric Cash, Keely Poland, and Maddie Graham
