Sadie Marie Groce, age 81 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at her home. Sadie was born on June 01, 1941 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY to the late W.B. Dyer and Jewell Anderson Dyer. Sadie was a member of Mud Camp Church of Christ and a former employee of Bob Evans and Cumberland Valley Manor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Ewing Groce.

Survivors Include: One Son- Michael Groce of Burkesville, KY One Daughter- Barbara Turner (Jerry) of Burkesville, KY One Sister- Madie Smith of Burkesville, KY Five Grandchildren- Brandy Pruitt (Eric Lee), Lesley Watson (Doug), Blake Goodlett (Tonya), Brooke Scott (Logan), and Jordan Ray Brown Seven Great Grandchildren- Dylan Pruitt, Mason Watson, Lily Pruitt, Beckham Watson, Lainey Scott, Charleigh Goodlett, and Chesney Goodlett along with a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, March 14th from 4 P.M. till 9 P. M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
