Sam White, age 77 of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. He was a member of the Marrowbone Baptist Church. Sam was born on November 28, 1938 to the late Brad and Lovie Muse White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer White, four sisters, Margaret White, Margie Cromwell, Emogene Patterson, and Mary Holland. He was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Melinda Frazier, Emily White and one great-granddaughter, Lydia Kerr, and his daughter-in-law, Starr White. Survivors include his wife, Clarice Milam White, whom he wed on May 23, 1959. Brothers Preston White and Denton White(Joanie) of Indiana, Jackie (Jenny) White of Summer Shade, and one sister, Joyce Muse of Marrowbone. He leaves behind six children: Catherine Frazier and Joyce Blankenship(Allan Walker), both of Tompkinsville, Rickie White, Debbie Dubre, Beverely Capshaw (Willie), and Gary White (Connie) all of Burkesville, KY. Left to grieve are also 13 grandchildren: Lynn Frazier, Randy Abernathy, Wesley Dubre, Aaron Capshaw, Misty Dubre Batdorf, Christy Frazier Webb, Finis Capshaw, April Blankenship Dyer, Leslie White Vibbert, Kelly Blankenship Stalcup, Lacey Dubre Kerr, Brad Dubre and Bethany White as well as 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Sam will also be greatly missed by his special friend, Steve Huff and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Burial will be in the White Family Cemetery on Leslie Road in Burkesville, KY
