Sandy Franklin Hoots, age 71 of Auburn, Kentucky formerly of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Sandy was born on December 01, 1950 in Cumberland County, KY to the late James Douglas Franklin and Hilda Cary Franklin. She was a retired nurse with the Cumberland County Health Department, a member of Auburn Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and had attended Casey Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years before moving to Auburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hoots and one brother Brad Franklin.

Survivors Include: Two Sons- Michael Hoots and his wife Maria of Russellville, KY and Doug Hoots and his fiance Lisa Hardin of Smiths Grove, KY One Daughter- Katherine Fletcher and her husband Jeremy of Bowling Green, KY Four Brothers- Mark Franklin and Debra Jackson of Newberry, SC, Joe Franklin and his wife Cathy of Marrowbone, KY, Cary Franklin and his wife Elaine of Franklin, IN and  John Franklin and his wife Tonya of Marrowbone, KY Two Sisters- Crystal Garmon and her husband Charles of Marrowbone, KY and Sue Parke and her husband Timmy of Dubre, KY Five Grandchildren- Joslyn Fletcher, Kaylee Fletcher, Taylor Hoots, Maren Hoots, Macy Hoots and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Franklin-Davis Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Wednesday, August 17th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
