Sherry Kay Long, 46, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Sherry was born in Greensburg, Kentucky on June 15, 1965, to the late Hallie Keith Smith, and the late William Smith Sr. She was a former employee of Bob Hale Accounting and a graduate of Somerset Community College.

Survivors Include: 1 Son, Casey Long of Burkesville, KY; 1 Daughter, Haley Long of Burkesville, KY; 1 Brother, William Smith, Jr. of Monticello, KY; 2 Sisters, Hilda England of Burkesville, KY; and Judy Gentry of Temple Hill, KY; and several nieces, nephews, and friends survive. Funeral services on Sunday, January 1, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until service time at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville.
