Shirley Winfrey age 78 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital. Shirley was born on July 13, 1936 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Roscoe and Cecil Williams Crawley.  She was a member of Providence United Methodist, a former employee of Cumberland Valley Manor, Grumpy's Restaurant, and a was  a farmer and homemaker.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Landy Eli Winfrey, Jr., and six siblings, Howard Crawley, Stanley Crawley, T. C. Crawley, Harvey Crawley, Imanell Pierce, and Elizabeth Sparks Survivors Include: One Son- Michael Winfrey of Bakerton, KY One Daughter- Leisa Riley of Bakerton, KY Three Sisters- Dole Burton of Indianapolis, IN, Jeanette Smith of Bowling Green, KY, and Helen Smith of Lawson Bottom, KY Six Grandchildren- Dana Cornelius, Megan Carter, Terra Riley, Sarah Riley, Brooke Moore, Jimmy Winfrey Six Great Grandchildren- Merrik Cornelius, Allie Moore, Callie Gilbert, Aspen Carter, Maverick Cornelius, Prentis Key and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Charles Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday, May 25, 2015 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
