Stella Cross, age 84 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the home of her sister. Stella was born on July 15, 1937 in Burkesville, KY to the late James Henry Crawley and Alma Nation Crawley.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lloyd Cross, two brothers, J.H. "Foots" Crawley and Truesdale Crawley, one sister, Festus Conley, two brothers-in-law, Martin Thrasher and Robert Conley, nephew Ronnie Thrasher and sister-in-law Carolyn Crawley.

Survivors include: One son - Dale Harvey Cross of Burkesville, KY One sister - Jamah Thrasher of Burkesville, KY One sister-in-law - Patricia Crawley of Burkesville, KY Nieces - Ronda Chandler (Delbert) of Tompkinsville, KY, Sharon Pickens (Jeff) of Burkesville, KY, Tammy Cox (Robert) of Hilham, TN, Jennifer Crawley of Louisville, KY, Emily Crawley of Russell Springs, KY,  Laura Riley (Terry) of Burkesville, KY Nephews - John Crawley of Burkesville, KY and Patrick Crawley (Kristy) of Burkesville, KY And a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Modoc Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Saturday, December 11th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and after 6 A.M. on Sunday till time for the service.
