Sumona Alexander age 62 of Louisville, KY passed away on Saturday, January 05, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital. Sumona was born on July 12, 1956 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY to the late Culman and Annie Lee Rowe Alexander.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three siblings, Earl Alexander, Elise Alexander, and Nathaniel Alexander. Survivors Include: Three Daughters- Tameka Alexander(fiancé Carlos Crossman,III)  Shuana Alexander, and Chalis Williams(Damon Williams, Sr.) all of Louisville, KY Three Sons- Culman K. Alexander, Cedric J. Alexander, and Rodney Nate Alexander all of Louisville, KY Nine Sisters- Ella Louise Alexander, Leara Woolridge(Gerald), Judy Tooley(David), Lee Edna Floyd, Teresa Legg, Alfonda Harkonen(John), Rachel Alexander, Maurine Wood(Theodore Warren), and Garnita Alexander(John A. Monroe, Sr.) One Brother- Terry Lee Alexander(Betty), Her lifelong companion- Cedric Sistrunk

Funeral Service: Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with burial in Grundy Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
